Our 1930s character farmhouse set in rambling cottage garden, offers comfort from open fires in winter to tennis and swimming pool in summer. The beautiful countryside surrounding our small acreage is amongst leading horse studs. Hugh, a veterinarian, specialises in dairy cow reproduction. Lake Karapiro is only 2 minutes away, offering water-skiing and a base for rowing supporters. Picturesque Cambridge "Town of Trees" is only 5 minutes drive. We are centrally located within an hour of Waitomo and Rotorua and several top golf courses. We are extensively travelled and with our one daughter and her pets at home, are keen water/snow skiiers. Guests have a choice of twin offering tea making facilities or quaint self contained garden cottage, queen with ensuite, sitting TV area and cute kitchen. We serve countrystyle breakfast with our own eggs, homemade muesli and breads either in the guests dining room or al fresco in the garden. Guests have their own sitting/TV room. |
