A charming and private, beautifully appointed cottage only meters from the sea and park. Our cottage is light, serene and airy with full facilities including lounge/bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/dining room and private verandah.
The perfect location in Devonport, the cottage is ideally situated midway between lovely Cheltenham Beach, historic North Head in one direction, and Devonport village and the ferry in the other direction. The ferry takes you to Auckland city or the Islands of the Hauraki Gulf.
Step out of the cottage and cross the road to the park and sea. A short stroll takes you along the waterfront to Duders or Mchughs reception lounges.
Oh yes! And around the corner from our cottage you can visit Whites Dairy where you can purchase the largest ice creams in New Zealand.
Step inside the cottage. Our cottage is attractively furnished with an old world elegance. It has features of New Zealand timbers throughout. The cottage is tucked away in a tranquil subtropical garden. We offer privacy and that special feeling of being "home away from home".

A 12 minute ferry ride (half hourly service) or 20 minutes by car over the Harbour Bridge from Auckland City centre will take you to Devonport.
A 40 minute shuttle bus ride from Auckland airport will take you right to our door.
Experience Devonport's unique heritage, wide range of restaurants, cafes, beaches,art galleries, museums, and shops. Enjoy the spectacular views of the city and gulf from North Head and Mt. Victoria. admire the colonial timber houses. Step out of the cottage, and cross the road to the park and one of Aucklands most beautiful beaches: Cheltenham Beach. Enjoy a swim at the safe and sandy beach. Climb North Head and explore the underground defence tunnels, chambers and gun emplacements erected in 1885. From Devonport you can explore the Auckland area, enjoy the sparkling waters of the Waitemata harbour with it's many cruises and ferry services to the wonderful islands of the Hauraki gulf.
The cottage offers full kitchen facilities for independent living, including microwave, hotplates, toaster, kettle, fridge, crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. The kitchen is stocked with complimentary free range eggs, cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and milk plus herbs, salt, pepper, and oil for cooking. Step through the French doors onto your own private verandah and enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or and evening glass of wine.
